If you don’t like the club, don’t go there

I have read with interest your recent article about Shades lapdancing club and your invitation to comment on whether Leamington needs such a club. The simple answer to that is ‘yes it does!’ Surely its a question of personal taste?

I frequent the club on a regular basis (as a female customer, along with my male fiance and friends of both sex) and the main reason I do so, is for the safety aspect. Both inside and outside the club, the professional doorstaff and the high level of CCTV and radios linked directly to the police, result in the club never having any aggression or trouble of any kind. The club is on a side road off the main road and is extremely discreet. From the ground floor entrance you wouldn’t even know it was a ‘gentlemen’s club’. The girls and music are on the first floor and cannot be seen or heard from outside.

On the inside of the club, you can be involved with the girls as much as you want, or equally, not at all. The girls, barstaff and doormen are discerning, friendly, and very professional. It’s a huge misconception that its a venue just for stag parties. Quite frankly it’s a club with excellent music, no queues at the bar, fine champagne and fine clientele, with a taxi ordered by doorstaff at the end of the evening and NO trouble or drugs! A girl’s perfect night out!

It’s simply another choice for people to have; if you don’t like the idea then don’t go there! Simple! - Jaime Richards, via email.
