Looking to meet up with Sheasby family

I live in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and earlier this year made contact with Lucy Alsop who lives on the Orkney Islands.

We thought that it would be a wonderful idea to have a family reunion for the Sheasby family in Napton on the Hill, since this is where our great-grandparents were from, and since our great-great-grandparents and great-great-great-grandparents are resting underneath the big yew tree in the Napton churchyard.

We have organised (with lots of long distance phone calls and emails) a reunion for members of the Sheasby Family in Napton village hall on October 20.

There will be coffee, tea and muffins at 9am, followed by lots of meeting and greeting and sharing of family trees and photographs. Then we are having lunch at 12.30pm followed by a tour of the village and churchyard and then afternoon tea at 4.30pm to say goodbye. All the events take place in the Napton village hall, with the exception of the tour.

We would like to let as many Sheasby family descendants as possible attend. Organising long distance from Canada is slightly challenging and any help would be very much appreciated. - Lesley Durrant, Vancouver, Canada.
