Loss of spaces will impact businesses
I very much endorse the views expressed in last week’s Courier that valuable car parking spaces are being taken away because of housing developments in Warwick.
I live in Theatre Street and am very much aware of the shortage of parking in the area especially as my home backs onto The Holloway which gets full of cars at weekends and evenings.
The loss of over 80 car parking spaces will have a bad impact on local businesses. Will councillors please listen to workers, residents and shoppers and learn about the problems they encounter and loss of business because people are staying away from Warwick and going to shop where parking is easier?
