Meetings were a waste of time
Why am I not surprised that the local draft plan has been approved. What a waste of time and money. We were asked to attend many meetings and voice our opinions. Every meeting we attended, not once did we hear any attendee wanting these developments to go ahead.
Low and behold, surprise, surprise the council has voted to give the go ahead for 12,300 homes, no, sorry 12,900 homes, many of which will lie between Whitnash and Warwick and south of Leamington. Warwick District Council has not looked to use some of the 65,490 empty homes in the West Midlands, which would more than account for the Government housing need for councils in the West Midlands. Why do we waste our time attending all these meetings and objecting when nothing ever changes?
