Please stop killing our grass verges
A couple of weeks ago, a council worker walked around Farmer Ward Road, Laburnum Drive and Ash Drive, and probably many other Kenilworth roads too, spraying weedkiller on the grass verges.
Unfortuantely, the weedkiller turned wide areas of spring grass around the trees, signposts and lampposts a terrible neon yellow and sprayed grass is now dying.
The council sent someone last year to do the same thing - presumably to make its mowing commitments easier to manage - and that was bad enough. But now the area of grass killed is much larger and our verges are ruined.
Please, Kenilworth Town Council, don’t do this again.
