Send new homes to Coventry

Now that Coventry is acknowledged to be in the top ten English cities for growth in employment, it is essential that most of the planned new housing should not be built south of the rivers Avon and Leam on the wrong side of Leamington and Warwick.

In the West Midlands, Coventry brownfield and greenfield sites (and even green belt) need to be developed in that order of priority, to suit local people and save on transport.

The proposed Local Plan needs urgent amendment by the councillors and officers of Coventry and WDC to reflect this fact, which is good news for all of us.
