Students worked hard for show

What a wonderful evening at the Royal Spa Centre, on Friday October 31, when Warwick district paid a memorable and fitting tribute to the centenary of the Great War, 1914-18. Your report and many photographs also made an excellent commemoration of the event.

However, if I may, I would just like to correct one tiny error in the report.

Writer of the piece, Adam Schumacher of OTFM Productions, in association with Stagecoach Theatre Arts, Stratford-upon-Avon & Worcester, presented the emotive drama Waste of War, with a group of 35 young people, aged 7 to 15. Unfortunately, this late entry was not recorded in the printed programme, and was reported by you as having been performed by Heartbreak Productions.

Our students had worked very hard on this piece, so I’d be grateful for their recognition – after all, most of them had gladly given up Halloween parties for what for them was a very special and memorable night!
