Thank you for your generous support

I’m writing to thank the kind people of Leamington for their tremendous generosity. On Saturday January 15, Headway – the brain injury association – held a charity shop collection day at Sainsbury’s supermarket at the Shires Retail Park.

The event was a tremendous success, with dozens of people bringing bags full of unwanted clothes, games, books, jewellery and toys – all of which will now be sold in our charity shop on Regent Street, with profits going to help people affected by brain injury to rebuild their lives.

I’d also like to take the time to thank Sainsbury’s for allowing us to hold the collection and the staff who took the time to explain to customers the wonderful work of Headway.

Finally, I’d like to extend an invitation to the people of Leamington to come and visit the shop – you’ll be sure to receive a warm welcome and, thanks to some wonderful stock donations, there’ll be plenty of high-quality items to browse through! - Belinda Marshall, Manager, Headway charity shop.
