The Spa Centre will disappear

So, the council wants to build offices on the nice green area outside the Spa Centre, with its very attractive shady trees?

Let me think now: if I wanted to build offices on green space in Leamington centre, I’m sure the council would reject the proposal out of hand. But who is making this proposal? The council. And who runs the planning committee? Why, it’s the same council!

So I’m sure that they will find that these healthy attractive trees have suddenly developed an unexpected life-threatening tree disease, making them a health and safety hazard to all who sit or park under them, so it is vital that they are cut down immediately. Just as so often happens when the council wants to cut down trees to fit in with some new plans of its own. My but the world is full of such coincidences isn’t it?

And the Spa Centre will disappear between two sets of offices, lose all its attraction and prominence, and severely damage its development plans. Well done council.
