Volunteers needed for a worth cause

Unfortunately heart disease touches us all - the chances are you will be affected yourself or will know someone who is.

By giving your time to the British Heart Foundation (BHF) as an In Memoriam volunteer covering Leamington and Warwick you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to those who have recently lost a loved one.

We are looking for an organised home worker to give a high level of customer service – you will need to be computer literate and accurate as you will be acknowledging receipt of funds from Funeral Directors and thanking the next of kin for their support. You will also need to be confident and have the ability to visit local funeral directors at least once a year. Training and template letters will be provided.

In return for your commitment, you will become a highly valued member of our team, encouraging and acknowledging In Memoriam donations for the BHF. You will meet new people and develop skills and be amazed at what you can achieve along the way – you will help the charity fund vital heart research, education and care projects.

The work of the British Heart Foundation is essential – we are working to prevent families and friends from losing loved ones to heart disease - but we cannot do it alone, we need support from volunteers. Please get in touch to discuss the details. You can call me on 0121 353 2087 or email me at [email protected]

I look forward to hearing from you. - Donna Stokes, BHF Fundraising Manager.
