Volunteers played their part too

One important point does need correction. Warwick District Council has given £40,000 towards the cost of the project (which you correctly say was about £110,000); the volunteers raised the rest.

This they have done thanks to the enormous generosity of local residents, businesses (some national and even global) and other organisations.

The council, both officers and councillors, provided great support to the volunteers over the four years the project has taken to complete.
