Why an overnight parking charge?
Please can someone explain why there is now a 50p charge to park between 8pm and 8am in New Street car park in Warwick whilst surprisingly it is still free to park on the roadside.
Is someone going to patrol this car park between these hours. I doubt it. Is it going to be gritted and made safe in bad weather? No I suspect this is just another added charge for nothing hence deterring evening visitors to Warwick.
I am sure the local venues, pubs and even the church, who need every penny they can get, might have something to say about this needless charge. - Margaret King, St Lawrence Close, Rowington, Warwick.
