Write now before it’s too late

Everyone please remember pride and arrogance can come before a fall. The government’s HS2 is flawed in so many ways and it is an unnecessary waste of all taxpayers’ monies at £1,250 per family.

The whole scheme is in excess of the vast sum of £35 billion and this expense is not justified, and existing railway networks could be updated much more cheaply.

The only people to benefit from it would be big business companies and wealthy business men. The rail fare would be excessively high and be of no advantage at all to the general public, and with good current services being reduced ie the present three express trains from Coventry to London each hour, being reduced to one only!. The government consultation road shows, held in towns and villages all along the route from London to Birminghan, have now been completed. Everyone who is against this protest must write in now before the closing date Friday July 29. Comments after this date will not be accepted, all sensible people must fight to stop this extravagance now
