Paralympic star Nigel continues to inspire

PARALYMPIAN medal winner Nigel Murray kept the Games’ flame burning in Warwickshire.

The Whitnash athlete, who won a team bronze medal in boccia in London as well as silver and gold medals in the Sydney and Beijing Paralympics, visited Our Lady and St Teresa’s Primary School in Cubbington last week, where children had been learning about the history of the games.

Acting headteacher Edna Ridges said: “He made them aware of disability and how it doesn’t stop you. It’s something they will remember for a long time.”
