Parents praise Myton Hospice during MP’s visit

WARWICK and Leamington MP Chris White visited Myton Hospice in Warwick to talk to staff and relatives about the care families receive there.

Mr White is a long-standing supporter of the charity.

During his visit he met parents Jo and Tony Buckingham whose 23-year-old son Mathew is being cared for in the Inpatient Unit.

Mrs Buckingham said: “Myton is just amazing. We call it cotton wool Myton. When the inevitable does happen I won’t want to leave. “Mathew has been able to have some of his favourite things in his room including his bike and was even allowed to have a tattooist come in and give him a tattoo. Where else would you be able to do those things?”
