Parking on Remembrance Sunday
NSL, the national company that has taken over the regulation of on-street parking from Warwickshire County Council, has agreed not to charge for lost revenue as a result of the closed bays.
However, this might still prove a problem at future events if agreement cannot be reached on waiving what appears to be the usual £70 per bay charge for closing a space.

Hide AdWarwick town clerk Derek Maudlin wants to remind all those hoping to attend the 9.30am service in St Mary’s church, or going to view the later procession to the war memorial in Church Street for the 11am ceremony, of the restricted parking.
Mr Maudlin said: “We are extremely grateful to NSL for agreeing to close the bays on Remembrance Sunday.
“Liasion between ourselves and NSL has proved excellent and there will be no charge to ratepayers on this occasion.
“We hope that future key community events will also be accommodated.”
