A-Level results for sixth forms and colleges in and around Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth
Students at Royal Leamington Spa College achieved a stellar set of A-Level results in the face of Covid-19 disruption.

Hide AdA-Level students at the college, which is part of WCG (formerly Warwickshire College Group), achieved an overall pass rate of 100 per cent.
The results mean Royal Leamington Spa College has improved its pass rate by 1.9 per cent compared to 2019.
The perfect pass rate was achieved across 15 courses including economics, mathematics, history, psychology, physics, chemistry and more.

Hide AdJames Stacey, Head of A Levels at WCG, said: “It has been a difficult year for our students as a result of Covid-19 and the impact had on exams and assessments.
“We are sure there will be some relief amongst students now that their results are now out and we’re incredibly proud of their efforts to achieve what they have this academic year.
“These results certainly represent the dedication and hard work put in by students and tutors, because even during lockdown classes continued right up to, and beyond, the end of term.

Hide AdDespite the anxious and unique set of circumstances, Kingsley girls of all abilities and backgrounds have exceeded expectations with fantastic personal achievements in their A-level results this year, securing a diverse range of first choice destinations.
These results reflect the quality of work undertaken by students and teachers and the efforts of staff to compile a persuasive evidence base to underpin their grading estimates.
The Kingsley School sixth formers have achieved a 100% pass rate, with 35% of grades A*-A, 71% of grades A*-B.

Hide AdAlongside exceptional performances in A-level subjects, a number of students participated in Cambridge Technical courses, in which 100% Distinction* grades were awarded in Business Studies, IT and Health and Social Care.
All girls who applied have secured places at their first choice universities, with the remainder opting for gap year opportunities and deferred entries for next year. Amongst the excellent destinations are:
Head Girl Rebecca Winn, from Warwick, who has already moved to Florida Gulf Coast University after signing to train and compete in the USA’s highest university division for swimming and diving.

Campion School pupils have continued to build on the successes of the past five years, with our Year 13 pupils achieving outstanding results once again.
The students have achieved a 100% pass rate in A levels, with 58% of pupils achieving grades A* or A and 98% achieving grades A* to C.

Hide AdPupils studying BTEC qualifications have achieved equally high with a 100% pass rate and 89% achieving Distinction* or Distinction grades.
The results are consistent with the teacher predictions and mock exams that all the pupils sat.
Many pupils have achieved 100% A* or A grades, including Phoebe Moss, Helena Hall, Hamzah Malik, Teagan Gough, Nuno Bettencourt, Pawal Kuczynski, Harmandip Singh and Danielle Wright.

Hide AdPhoebe went on to achieve A*A*A in History, Psychology and Biology and Helena Hall achieved A*AA in Business, Maths and Economics.
All of these pupils have secured positive destinations with the vast majority going off to top universities.

Hide AdThe Arnold Lodge School community is celebrating another exceptional (and record breaking!) set of results at A Level.
Of all grades awarded, 10% were at A*, 32% at A*-A, 55% at A*-B and a 100% pass rate.
Most impressively, on average, pupils at Arnold Lodge achieved 5 grades above their targets set by external testing upon entry into the school (the highest ever value added score for ALS).

Hide AdThis is a significant achievement for the pupils, staff and wider school community and reflects the academic value added for the pupils at Arnold Lodge across their time at the school.
Among the individual success stories were Kim Jackson who achieved A*, A*, A in Biology, Mathematics and Geography; James Schofield who attained an A, A and B in Politics, Sociology and English Literature (as well as the equivalent of an A* in Music) and Anup Lally who attained an A, A, B in Politics, Sociology and English Literature.
Particular congratulations must go to Anna Balbao who attained A* and A in German and French respectively, having studied these courses condensed in just one year.

Hide AdThe vast majority of Southam College students have been able to access their destination of choice following the release of A-level grades today.
Provisional results at the school are showing an improvement on previous years, however it is difficult to summarise final school performance such is the uncertainty following recent government announcements.
