Call to remove disused public telephone box in Leamington where human faeces has been left

A disused public phone box in a Leamington road is being used for drug deals and also as a toilet.

The windows of the telephone box, which is on the corner of Westlea Road and Lee Road, have been smashed and the telephone in it no longer works.

And a resident, who wanted to remain anonymous, has reported that he thinks it is being used as a spot for drug deals to take place and even as a toilet where someone has defecated.

He also said that BT, which owns the telephone box, have not done anything about it despite him having made complaints to them via local authorities in recent weeks.

He said: "It's a danger, especially to young children who might pass by it during their walks while on lockdown.

"The problem is, nobody is taking responsibility for it.

"It needs to be removed."
