'Great turnout' for Warwick's French market despite weather
There was a 'great turnout' for the French market held in Warwick at the weekend despite the bad weather.
Last weekend the UK was hit with wind and rain form Storm Alex but that didn't deter people from visiting the market, which was organised by CJ's Events Warwickshire.
Cllr Terry Morris was among those who attended.

"However, I spent a couple of very enjoyable hours at last Saturday's French Market where John, Jamie and the team at CJ Events kindly gave me a tour and introduced me to a number of market traders I've not previously met.
"These included regular stall holders selling what they've always sold, familiar faces who have adapted their businesses to respond to Covid-19, a number of "newbies", and of course, those who specialise in French produce and goods.
"There was a great turn-out (despite the rain) and everyone was very positive about how CJ Events have worked extremely hard to keep the market viable in what are clearly challenging times.

"Thanks again to John and team for their hospitality and ongoing hard work and to all of the traders who were very welcoming."
