Hide AdHelp Stop HS2 have said: "As we emerge from lockdown where so much has been made of people reconnecting with nature, and with calls for a green recovery, it is sadly ironic that there is no end in sight to the destruction of our environment, ancient woodlands and natural world.
"Instead it seems that such losses will be accelerated with focus on HS2, infrastructure and build, build, build.”
TV presenter and wildlife expert Chris Packham's legal team will be challenging HS2 in the Court of Appeal on 8th July, bringing further public attention to the project.
