Valentine’s Day may have come and gone, but there are many dogs still waiting for their perfect match at Dogs Trust Kenilworth.
From 13-year-old Rottweiler, Jay, to one-year-old Belgian Shepherd, Kiba, all the dogs have found themselves looking for love again, for a variety of reasons.
Emma-Jane Thomas, Dogs Trust Kenilworth Manager, said: “As everyone celebrated their loved ones on Valentine’s Day, we made sure our gorgeous dogs knew they were the centre of our world, but our wish is that they all find their very own special someone soon.
“Nothing can beat a home of your own and all of our dogs deserve to find the love of their lives, whatever day of the year it is.”

5. Roche
Breed: Greyhound Age: 1 Roche is full of character, guaranteed to bring a smile to his owner’s face with his cheeky, energetic personality. He loves his food which is a great way to build a bond with him, and will help with his fun training sessions in his forever home. He is looking for a family who like to head out on nice walks and he can live with children aged eleven and over. He could potentially live with a female dog of a similar breed.

6. Kiba
Breed: Belgian Shepherd Cross Age: 1 Kiba is a beautiful, fun boy who loves playing with his toys, particularly squeaky ones. He is a big, bouncy youngster who sometimes doesn’t remember how big he is, but he is a gentle giant who will make a lovely pet. He would like an adult only home where he is the only pet and his owners will need to be comfortable with his size and strength, particularly when out and about with him. In his previous home he liked heading out in the car and was happy to be left alone for a few hours. He would like to meet his new owners several times at the rehoming centre to build a bond and so they can help with his training which can be continued at home.

7. Rueben
Breed: Greyhound Age: 4 Rueben is an ex-racer but he is happy to have left the track behind him and is looking to settle into a loving home with a comfy bed available at all times! This lively, cheeky youngster loves to play ball (and is learning how to play fetch) and take a walk or a run around the paddocks at the centre. When he’s not occupied doing that, he can often be seen gently pinching treats from his carers! There will never be a dull day at home with Rueben and he could live with children aged twelve and over and a dog of a similar size. Due to his chase instinct, he cannot live with cats or small furries and is walked wearing a muzzle, which he is used to and very comfortable with.
