Two young boys have been bringing a touch of colour - and a lot of smiles - to the whole of Southam.

Matthew (13) and Freddie (5) Quigg decided they wanted to do something for the local community during lockdown, so they started posting coloured rainbow drawings through people's letterboxes.

They got such a good reaction so they made more - and now their artistic work can be seen in shops and homes across Southam.

Their mother, Amy, said:"We started colouring in NHS rainbows and we posted them through all our neighbours doors, many were over the moon and sent them thank you letters and sweets.

"Every window in our street now has one of their rainbows."

"We then decided to offer them to older people, or anyone who didn't have their own. We had an overwhelming response on Facebook and proceeded to do over 100 rainbows.

"We then decided to brighten up our lovely town, we would post one through every shop, cafe, pub etc.

"Their rainbows are now everywhere all around Southam on shop windows and doors.

The boys have also made over 50 for a local care home and distributed them to local NHS surgeries and the local clinic.

Amy added: "We are continuing to do these rainbows and people have been so pleased with them they asked to donate, to which we suggested donating to Captain Tom Moore.

"I am so proud of my boys, they have spent hours printing, colouring, laminating and posting the rainbows."
