The eighth White Poppy ceremony took place at the War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday afternoon by arrangement with Leamington Town Council and the Royal British Legion.
Attendees were reminded that the majority of those who die in wars are civilians including women and children. The speaker pointed out that wars create refugees, and Leamington can be proud of the way it supports refugees. After a poem, the wreath was placed there was a two minute silence when all victims of all wars, including past and present, were remembered. Photo: Submitted photo
