Kenilworth book club publishes collection of lockdown poetry and it is on sale on Saturday to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support

Kenilworth group Haywire Book Club has produced a book of lockdown poetry to raise money for a national charity.

Proceeds from sales of the book, Unprocessed, will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Copies will be on sale for £5 at a stall outside Kenilworth Books from 10am to noon on Saturday (December 12).

"A stocking filler with a local touch?

"Then look no further.

"During our lockdown Zoom meetings we took turns to read a favourite poem and invited our members to offer one word which, for them, encapsulated the poem.

"We then used the list of words to inspire a personal poem and this beautiful little book is the result. "
