Dancers for Motionhouse have been working hard to create a playlist of videos for YouTube under the title of Together in Isolation and they are due to be published early next week.

The company has said: "Here at Motionhouse, our ethos is to bring people together through the power of dance.

"Whilst we might not be able to do this through performances in theatres and festivals or engage with people through our community classes at the moment, we wanted to let you know what we are planning online during this period of self-isolation and social distancing.

"Our dancers are currently working at home to create a range of videos for us to share on our YouTube channel early next week.

"Just look for our #TogetherInIsolation playlist where you will find classes to help you and your family to stay active whilst you are in isolation – from classes for parents and small children, classes for older children and adult beginners, right through to dance fitness courses for all levels to enjoy together - so please do have a look and see what catches your eye.

"There will also be classes for professionals and tutorials with our dancers for students and young performers, with audition tips and advice. We’ll be making an announcement on social media when the videos are online, so please make sure to follow us if you don’t already – we’re on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

"Also to be announced soon on social media, we are offering 20 minute free one-to-one tutorials with our executive director Louise Richards and Kevin Finnan our artistic director – an opportunity for young or emergent artists to find out more about the creative process and how to run a successful dance company."

Motionhouse is a charity and is therefore grateful for any donations during these diffcult and unorecedented times.
