The Goggins Challenge involves participants running four miles every four hours to cover 48 miles in 48 hours.

Members ran laps of the path around Victoria Park covering 6.5k 12 times throughout both days including in the early hours of the morning.

Fitness coach and Physical Formula’s co-founder Martin Browne, who lead the effort, said: “The entire team took part.

“The lack of sleep, the aches and stiff legs were worth it for an incredible cause The Myton Hospices.

“They provide the most incredible care to people who need it most and this run was nothing compared to what they provide to patients on a daily basis.”
