Stella Chidzik started making the butterflies back in March last year and has created about 500.

And to mark the new year she put some of them on one of the tunnels on the walkway through Jephson Gardens.

Stella said: " I've always had an interest in run down/ derelict places and like the idea of giving the viewers a different perspective by adding art and colour.

"With butterflies signifying change it seemed apt to do this to bring in the new year with something positive."

Stella's work can be viewed on her Instagram page Stelcstreetart.
