This branch can provide the majority of services currently available at Lillington.
Post Office services at the refurbished Lillington Post Office will be offered from full-screen counter and a Post Office counter alongside the retail counter.
Improvements are also being made on the retail side.
Mat Wilkes, Post Office change manager, said: “The safety of our customers is of paramount importance to us, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it will be necessary for the service to close, temporarily for the new Postmaster to undertake lots of improvements.
