A 49-year-old man has been arrested after police witnessed a possible drug deal taking place in Rugby.

Suspected Class A drugs and cash were seized following the incident in Railway Terrace on Thursday at 12.15pm.

Drugs were seized and officers searched a nearby address in Omega Place where an amount of suspected Class A drugs, cash and other drug-related paraphernalia were recovered.

He has been released under investigation (RUI) pending further enquiries.
