Based on a full year of Tripadvisor reviews, prior to any changes caused by the pandemic, Traveller’s Choice award winners are known for consistently receiving great feedback, placing The Cross in the top ten per cent of hospitality businesses around the world.

Adam Bennett, executive chef, who helped the pub secure a Michelin Star less than 12 months after it reopened in 2014, said: “Following what has been a tough few months, it’s fantastic to have our hard work recognised with an international award. We are grateful to everyone who has taken the time to review us and I’m very proud of the team for delivering such a high ranking experience.”

"To have The Cross featured in the top 10 per cent in the world is a huge achievement for everyone involved.

"I’m grateful to everyone who has taken the time to feedback such wonderful comments.”

“Winners of the 2020 Travellers’ Choice Awards should be proud of this distinguished recognition.” said Kanika Soni, Chief Commercial Officer at Tripadvisor.
