More than £5,000 raised for Myton Hospice thanks to Rugby's Tree of Light

Rugby's Tree of Light has raised more than £5,000 for Myton Hospice as part of project which has been running for decades.

Every year the The Rotary Club of Rugby gives residents the opportunity to sponsor lights on the tree outside St Andrew’s Parish Church in dedication of the memory of loved ones.

Residents send a minimum donation of £5 with their request.

Including this year's preliminary total, the project has raised more than £96,000 for Myton Hospice since its beginning 22 year years ago.

This week's dedications, expected to be the last for this year, are as follows:
