A museum in Warwick has been able to offer free tickets thanks to a grant
The Fusiliers Museum, which is based in St John's House, has been awarded a grant from Warwick District Council's Community Emergency Response Fund.
The grant included 70 free tickets for residents in CV34, CV31, and CV32 plus 50 free tickets to members of the Armed Forces community and their families who live in the Warwick district.
People need to just visit the museum with proof of address or connection to the Armed Forces community.
It is for the Army, Navy or Air Force (Regulars, Reservists, veterans, or cadets).
It will be a first come first serve basis for the free tickets.
Stephanie Bennett, curator, said: "It is fabulous news that we are able to offer free tickets for some residents in Warwick and Leamington as well as the Armed Forces community.
"It is an opportunity for us to give something back to the community.
"We believe that culture and life-long learning is important for people’s well-being.
"Although visiting us now is a different experience to previously we know you will still have a great time and receive a warm welcome.
"We really missed not having visitors to the museum and holding a family event for Armed Forces Day to support the local military family."
