NHS staff at Warwick Hospital have been given huge hampers of Easter gifts as a thank you gift.
The kind donations, which also went to the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, have come from staff at Tesco Warwick, Walsgrave and Coventry Crosspoint.

Hide AdThe hampers included a selection of sweets, chocolate eggs and a box of fresh fruit and were distributed to the staffrooms at the hospitals as a thank you from the Tesco team.


Tesco 'community champions', Melissa Hazell and Jayne Davoile, organised the donations with the assistance of Tesco colleague Jenny Simoni.
Melissa and Jayne said: “We really wanted the staff at the hospitals to know how much we appreciate all of their hard work and dedication.
"We’ve heard from friends that work at the hospital just how much small gestures like this mean to the staff as it gives them a well-needed boost to know they are appreciated.

Hide Ad“We thought the Easter hampers would be a lovely way to a bring a smile to their faces and it certainly did, as all of the staff were so grateful to receive them.


"We hope that these small acts of kindness offer a gesture of support to our doctors and nurses who have been working tirelessly to look after everyone in our community.”
Keith Jackson, communications manager at Tesco said: “We are proud to support the invaluable members of staff at Coventry University Hospital and Warwick Hospital.
"We are so thankful for all that they do, and we hope to continue offering a helping hand where possible.”
