BandStand Together will be an online gig recorded at the newly restored bandstand in the Pump Room Gardens .

To provide the playlist, the Council’s Green Spaces team is making a call to people to dedicate a song to someone who has made a difference in the community or has had a particularly difficult time due to the pandemic.

Warwick District Council’s portfolio holder for neighbourhood services Councillor Moira-Ann Grainger said: “The events of the past ten months have touched the lives of many in our district, this is a fantastic opportunity to say thank you or remember someone special. We’re hoping for lots of nominations.”

A selection of the dedicated songs will be performed by local musicians who the Council is inviting to play for a nominal fee.
