Office of national statistics figures show percentage of deaths which were from Covid-19 in and around Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth in last 12 months

The data, provided by the Office shows the number and percentage of deaths caused by Covid-19 and registered between March 2020 and February 2021.
It serves as a timely reminder of the effect Coronavirus has had on our communities a year since the first UK lockdown was announced.

Hide AdIn Lillington, 78 deaths were registered in this time with 16, or 21 per cent, of them being caused by Covid-19 making it the area with the highest percentage across the three towns.
Leamington West & Milverton was the area with the second highest percentage of deaths caused by Covid with 27, or 20 per cent, or the 137 deaths registered in the area being caused by the virus.
This was also the area in which most people died from Covid-19 in that 12-month period.
Leamington Central & North had the most deaths from all causes (149) with 17 per cent, or 26, being caused by Coronavirus.

Hide AdIn Warwick South West & Aylesford, 136 deaths were registered with 23 or 17 per cent being from Covid.
Kenilworth West was the area of the town which had the most deaths 111 registered and the most (18, or 16 per cent) deaths from Coronavirus.
Kenilworth South had 90 deaths of which 14, or 16 per cent, were caused by Covid.
In Leamington East & Sydenham there were 97 deaths with 15 per cent, or 15, from Coronavirus.

Hide AdOther areas in which 15 per cent of deaths were caused by Covid were Warwick South East, Myton & Heathcote (15 from 98) and Kenilworth East (14 from 96).
In Whitnash there were 122 deaths of which 16, or 13 per cent, was as a result of Coronavirus.
Both Leamington Brunswick (11 of 97) and Warwick North (11 of 102) had 11 per cent of deaths caused by Covid.
144 deaths were registered in Cubbington, Stoneleigh & Radford of which ten per cent, or 15 of them, were as a result of Covid-19.

Hide AdTen per cent of the deaths registered in Bishops Tachbrook, Barford & Hatton (seven from 70) were caused by Covid.
And of the 56 deaths registered in Kingswood & Leek Wootton five per cent, or three, were due to Covid-19.
