Courier reporter Oliver Williams took photos of Leamington town centre during 'Lockdown 3.0' this morning.

Many shops selling essential items remain open as are banks and opticians and several shoppers could be seen walking around the town centre in which The Parade has remained pedestriansed for months.

Other shops such as Rymans, which sells office supplies and stationery, and WHSmith are open for walk-in custom.

The Accordion-playing busker was sat running through his playlist in his usual spot at the corner of Warwick Street and The Parade despite the freezing cold weather and most coffee shops, cafes and restaurants are open still for takeaway, click and collect or home delivery services.

Brother and sister team Neil and Maxine Jones are continuing to run their Mr Spud street food stall in The Parade near the crossroads with Regent Street from about 11.30am to 3pm from Monday to Saturday.

Neil said: "Town seems to get a little bit busier at lunchtime with people just taking it easy in the morning and then deciding to have a walk.

Maxine said: "No other shops have closed here since the tier four restrictions were brought in so it's mainly the same for us really.

Neil added: "But we've noticed the difference now since we were in Tier 3 and it feels more like the firs lockdown now except the weather is so nice as it was then."
