The free-to-attend event, which was organised by Warwick District Council and supported by Leamington Town Council and The Royal British Legion as a way of saying ‘thank you’ to our armed forces, was held at the Pump Room Gardens .
The event began with a parade starting in Bedford Street and forming up in front of the bandstand.
Following the opening speeches there was a Fusiliers re-enactment blank firepower display, a cadet drill challenge, entertainment from vintage singer Celine Rose, performances by Royal Spa Brass, a sea cadets marching band and the band Man Made Moon, a kukri dance display by Gurkhas and more.
There were stalls displaying items from the military museums of Warwick, veteran support charities, local military regiments, a display of military vehicles including tanks in Dormer Place, and free children’s activities.
