Police launch new appeal after death of Rugby man in road traffic collision

Anyone who spent time with Rugby man Ben Peacock in a pub prior to his death or who was in the area at around the time of the tragic incident that took is life is being asked to help police with their enquiries.

42-year-old Ben died following a road traffic collision in Hillmorton Road at around 2.30am on Saturday, March 21.

Paying tribute, his family said: "There can be no pain more terrible and deep than that of losing a son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend.

"We all have a vacant place now in our hearts. We can not forget his footsteps, hugs, nor his dear loving face. The smile that lit up a room for everyone.

"Rest in peace our darling boy. Our 'party party' Ben.”

Ben had been to the Paddox Pub prior to the incident between 9pm on Friday March 20 and 2am on the Saturday morning at around 2am.

Police would like to speak to anyone who was also in the pub that evening, as well as anyone who was on Crick Road, Hillmorton between 2am and 2.30am on the morning of Saturday March 21.
