A record 50-plus retailers will be part of the Pumpkin Path, now in its fifth year, which will lead clue hunters on a trail around the town centre leading to a grand prize draw to win a host of treats.

The Pumpkin Path is organised by BID Leamington and will take place during October half-term, from Saturday, October 24 to Saturday, October 31.

Alison Shaw, project manager at BID Leamington, said: “The Pumpkin Path will be slightly different this year due to restrictions around Covid-19 but it will be bigger and better than ever before thanks to more businesses taking part and more prizes being donated.

“Instead of people having to go inside shops, cafes and restaurants to find clues, they can either search for pumpkin stickers featuring clues on the windows of the outlets taking part, or can participate online via the trail on our website.

“It’s always really popular especially among families with younger children and is a fun alternative to trick or treating - and there’s some great prizes to be won, particularly this year.

“Despite the current challenges facing our town centre retailers, more of them than previous years are supporting the Pumpkin Path and we are very grateful for all of their donated prizes, which range from coffee and cake to gift cards and family meals out.”

Entry forms will be available in the Royal Priors Shopping Centre and to download from www.royal-leamington-spa.co.uk from Saturday October 24.
