Retailers re-open and new store opens doors in Leamington town centre on first day of Tier 3 lockdown restrictions for Warwickshire

Magical Story, which also has branches in Banbury, Lichfield and Milton Keynes and specialises in Christmas-themed home and giftware , has opened on the large unit previously occupied by Accessorise and Monsoon in between Hotel Chocolat and The Body Shop .

And due to Covid-19 restrictions the store can only allow a limited number of people through its doors at a time so a queue had formed along the parade and across the junction on Warwick Street which is all currently pedestrianised.

Under the current Tier 3 restrictions cafes and coffee shops in the town centre are only able to open for takeaway service but other shops and hairdressers are now able to serve walk-in customers again.

Warwick District Council has announced that parking at its car parks in town centres will be free throughout December in a bid to encourage more people to return to the high street in the run-up to Christmas.For more about the town centre visit http://www.loveleamington.com/
