SCUBA club to make new Kenilworth swimming pool its home
A SCUBA diving club is set to make the new Abbey Fields Swimming Pool in Kenilworth its home.
Arden Divers will be holding weekly scuba diving sessions at the brand new pool, which opened last weekend, starting with a fun filled underwater games night on Tuesday (July 21).
The club will use the pool to teach scuba diving skills and to offer regular 'try dive' sessions to anyone interested in trying the exciting sport.
Club chairman Jonathan Taylor said: “We're absolutely thrilled to be coming to Kenilworth. Scuba diving really is a sport like no other and we are so looking forward to introducing new people to the wonders of the underwater world.

"This is where the adventure starts.”
The club, which was only formed last year, has already run several successful dive trips to destinations both abroad and in the UK, including a trip to the Maldives run in conjunction with the Manta Trust.
Having regular access to a swimming pool means that the club is now able to expand its activities and begin accepting new members who are keen to learn to dive.
Arden Divers is a branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC), Britain’s largest dive club and the national governing body for the sports of SCUBA diving and snorkelling in the UK.
SCUBA diving training and internationally recognised certification is provided to BSAC’s standards.
