Sports Awards 2010

There are only days left to nominate your heroes for the 2010 Warwick District Sports Awards

The continued success of the event - now in its fourth year - means we are once again preparing to celebrate our local sporting success, whether it be on the international stage or the playing fields of Harbury Lane.

All the winners will be revealed during a presentation evening at Leamington town hall on Friday November 19.

With your help, we will compile a list of nominations and draw up a shortlist from which winners will be chosen to receive their awards at the town hall.

Once again, players, coaches and helpers of all ages are eligible for the awards. All we ask is that nominees must live, go to school or play for a club in the district to be eligible for an award. All sports - from archery and athletics to football and fencing - will be considered.

We want your nominations, be they experienced international champions, determined youngsters achieving their first local success or tireless volunteers who have worked behind the scenes for years.

Simply click on the link above to nominate the people whose achievements you believe deserve celebrating. Closing is Thursday (October 6).
