Two men have been charged in connection with a burglary at a church in Southam.

George Anthony Burke, 20 of Spring Crescent, Southam was charged with burglary and possession of cocaine.

Jordan Sheasby, 20, of Butchers Close, Bishops Itchington was charged with burglary.

The charges relate to an alleged break in at Our Lady and St Wulstan Church in Wood Street on the night of 7 and 8 May that resulted in thousands of pounds worth of damage being caused.

Burke and Sheasby will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on June 4 2021.
