Since they opened they have been doing deliveries around Warwick and this has continued during the lockdown.

Because of the restrictions and social distancing their customers in and around Warwick have been coming up with creative ways to pay for their delivered goods.

They said: "We have operated deliveries as part of our business since opening, but were initially only doing a couple a day to local businesses and residents.

"With the lockdown and changes in operations in March, Jack's Shack closed to seated customers as a coffee shop but continued to offer deliveries in Warwick and the surrounding area.

"Something we have always strived to do is to provide customers with an experience, along with great coffee and food.

"Our fun approach has been reflected in our customers' response and in the weeks since lockdown our deliveries have been met with some fantastic ways for people to pay safely and contact free, including some in fancy dress."

People's creative ways to pay by card include: card parachute drops, cards riding on remote control trains, cards abseiling from a monkey and being presented on the end of a mop.

On one occasion Jack had to call up to an upstairs window, 'Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your contactless payment card'.

Jack and Michelle added: "We've absolutely loved the imagination and fun people are having as we arrive at their door with their Shack delivery.

"I don't know if you can call it normality, but with so much going on, it's a pleasure to bring some lightness to people's lives, along with yummy treats of course."

Jack and Michelle have been doing videos each morning on Facebook and Instagram, and say that they now attract more than 2,000 views a day.

They are open for takeaway coffees each morning from the doorway and continue to provide deliveries.
