A GoFundMe page has been set up after the sad news that Nick Morgan died in his sleep on Christmas morning.

The GoFundMe page was set up by Matt Turner.

He said: "In response to the incredibly sad news that our much loved friend and coach Nick Morgan passed away in his sleep on Christmas morning, we are creating this page to enable people to donate in Nick's memory and pay their respects.

"Nick loved football, he spent many evenings every week and most of his weekends helping to coach Lewis, and the boys u10's team.

"He loved being part of our Brakes community and Leamington FC was a big part of his life.

"We are all deeply saddened and shocked by the news of Nick's sudden and unexpected passing and our thoughts are with Lewis and all of Nick's family.

Thousands of pounds have been pledged by the community - and Matt added: "We've been overwhelmed by the response from everyone and speaking with family about plans over and above along with the memorial bench."
