Walkers will gather at the Bridge Street end of Abbey Fields in Kenilworth from 12.30pm where speeches will be made by speakers Dr Gail Bradbrook of Extinction Rebellion, Megan McCubbin of the Wildlife Rebellion, Luci Ryan of the Woodland Trust and Tony Whitehead of the RSPB, as well as Joe Rukin and Matt Bishop from the anti-HS2 protection camps set up at Crackley Woods and Cubbington Woods.

Parts of the ancient woodlands will be felled to make way for the high-speed rail line and the protestors are making a stand against the project going ahead despite Prime Minister Boris Johnson having given it the green light.
