Last week Dan posted a video to social media highlighting that he wanted to help two people in a care home in South Warwickshire.

He was called to the care home for a different project but he wanted to help the residents and decided he would surprise them with a big garden transformation.

To help, Dan launched a fundraising page to help with the costs of the project.

Dan said: "In a world so filled with fear and uncertainty, at the moment I believe its so important to help and acknowledge those who need that extra bit of care.

"I have already formed a brilliant friendship with these residents and really hope the friendship lasts for a long time after.

"I believe a well designed garden has many benefits to our health.

"It offers an escape, a place to relax and gather thought.

"It's also a place of laughter, memories and happiness.

"I want to completely transform that garden as a surprise and change their life for the better and give it a revamp they never even thought of."

"If we can give these two residents all of those things, our job is done - knowing my team have worked hard and put maximum effort into these projects really fills me with a sense of pride and joy.

"That's what Goode construction and landscaping group are about.

Dan has been shocked at how much his video has been shared and by how many donations it has helped generate.

"I initially uploaded the video in hope of raising £200 to £300.

"The video has been viewed thousands of times and has reached countries such as Ireland and Spain and the donation amount is ever increasing.

"Any donation is really really appreciated.

"Money raised will cover the cost of the project and anything over that will be donated to a charity of the residents' choice."

As of Wednesday morning (May 20) the fundraising total was just under £2,000.
