Warwick businesswoman takes on printshop and launches new office and design hub

A Warwick businesswoman has taken on a printshop and design brand.

Printshop and design brand, Peeli, which was based in Smith Street in Warwick, has this week unveiled its new custom-built office and design hub in Stratford following investment from Clare Underwood of newly launched Claret Sales and Marketing Ltd.

The print shop’s in-house design team specialises in creating graphics for businesses, venues and homeowners and developing displays.

Peeli has recently launched a diversified product range which includes reusable fabrics, anti-slip floor prints, window clings and magnetic prints.

Clare said she quickly recognised the synergy between her own business and the Peeli brand.

With her support, Peeli has expanded rapidly and has relocated to its new purpose-built office at The Hanger on the Blackhill Industrial Estate.

The new space not only allows the business to continue to grow but also includes room to host client appointments and face-to-face design sessions.

Clare said: “At the beginning of the pandemic, I found myself in a really challenging situation being between roles.

"I decided I couldn’t sit around waiting for something to come to me and instead chose to embrace the challenge by launching my company, Claret Sales and Marketing Ltd.

"My sailing nickname is ‘Claret’ and my husband is a wine merchant so the company name fell into place from there.

“I started out developing e-commerce sites for local businesses including Underwood Wines and Case Is Altered to help bring them into the modern, digital era, and came across Peeli during this time.

"I absolutely love the brand concept and it just felt like a natural fit with my work.

"I’m delighted to have the opportunity to invest in another local Warwickshire-based business and to help the team grow and achieve its full potential.”

Phil Baker, founder of Peeli, is working closely with Clare to launch the new office.

He said: “It is an exciting time for the Peeli brand. Since we began in 2018, we have worked closely with local Warwickshire businesses creating logo prints, decals, wall coverings and vehicle graphics.

"Now with a purpose-built office in Stratford and the support of Clare, we look forward to the business continuing to grow.”

Since the relocation, the team have already completed projects for many local organisations such as Jacks Shack, CJ’S Events, Hamlington Jewellers and Leamington Rugby Club to name just a few.

“The Warwick and Leamington business community are a key part of what we do. I’m looking forward to making connections with more fellow business people in the region over the coming months.” said Clare.
