St Mary's Church will now be opening on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

A spokesperson from St Mary's Church said: "The government has now allowed places of worship to open for private prayer, and starting this week the doors of the church will be open to the public for the first time since lockdown.

"Anyone wishing to come in to pray can do so on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 1pm to 3pm.

"The church has been arranged for social distancing, and hygiene measures are in place, however please note that public access is restricted to the nave only."
