Warwickshire County Council has also cancelled all events taking place in the region’s country parks until further notice.

The Council is liaising with local businesses who operate in the parks and supporting them to assess how their services can be offered in line with government guidance. This may mean some of the usual public facilities at the country parks are not operating, or operating with limited capacity.

Councillor Heather Timms, portfolio holder for environment and heritage & culture said: “Fresh air and exercise are known to be very important for well-being so we are enabling all those for whom it is safe to do so, to visit and benefit from the fresh air and environments which our country parks provide.

We urge everyone who comes out to enjoy our country parks to follow the guidance on social distancing and hand washing.”

This is an evolving situation and the Council may need to respond to any changes as the situation evolves.
